Alex herrera

Alex is a second-year student at MIT studying Computer Science, Data Science, and Economics. He joined the Community Biotechnology Initiative in the spring and has since been helping organize the Global Community Bio Summit and developing a low-cost electroporator. He loves learning and talking about environmental policy, renewable energy, and climate change. When not in the lab, he enjoys playing soccer and discovering new music. His favorite place in the world is Yosemite, CA.
