Ana zhivotov

Anastasia Zhivotov is an undergraduate student studying Chemical Engineering, Lab Chemist at Denver BioLabs, and president of CU Sustainable. Her passion lies in creating a sustainable world for generations to come through developing an alternative energy source and researching the human genome potential. She takes pride in her work as an educator and strives for all of her students to develop the same passion for science as her. Her undergraduate research in Ecology won Emerging Scholar and her organic chemistry worksheets have been used as models for classes to follow. Currently, she is working side-by-side with Isaac Bean to grow the community synthetic biology lab, Denver BioLabs and developing a height -age regression model for the Whitebark pine seedling population. She is thankful for the opportunities present at the BioSummit to develop her personal skills as a scientist and grateful for the chance to attend.
