anna sagatov

In 2013, Anna volunteered at Genspace for the first time while doing an internship with a scientific artist in New York. Though she knew she would be back, she had to take a brief hiatus to finish her undergraduate degree from College of the Atlantic in Human Ecology with a focus on the interconnections of art and science. After graduating, she worked as a dive master in Thailand, and then moved to Bozeman, Montana to pursue an MFA in Science and Natural History Filmmaking from Montana State University. As part of her studies, she has produced films about the neuroscience of meditation, the biological life growing in the toxic waters of an abandoned pit mine, and the psychology of conservatives’ views on climate change.
