cory tobin

Cory co-founded Los Angeles Biohackers (now TheLab) in 2010 and is the current president. He organizes activities and classes, mentors high school students and develops new educational biology kits. At TheLab he started a project identifying an oxygen-tolerant nitrogenase in soil microbes that led to a multi-univesity international collaboration. He is interested in plant genetics and synthetic biology.
