Crystal Johnson has over fifteen years of experience in planning, management, policy and assessment of environmental resources, energy and sustainability. As a Senior Environmental Planner and Energy/Climate Adaptation Strategist, Crystal focuses on high‐profile and critical environmental and social impact projects that are integrative and comprehensive. Her creative and critical thinking skills, coupled with her excellent communication skills, assist her in advancing complex projects. She is an expert in strategic planning and engaging diverse stakeholders. She graduated from the University of California Berkeley with a focus in both natural resources management and conservation resources studies. She

has several awards, including the Boston Business Journal Emerging Leader and YWCA Academy of Women Achievers Awards. She develops, produces and hosts The Gaia Report local cable and YouTube monthly TV series focused on sustainable living tips, environmental news and inspirational guests. Crystal also Co-Directs the EMW Youth Science Initiative designed to track diverse youth ages 9-12 to climate adaptation science solution careers and to create a workforce pipeline essential to the science/innovation industries.
