douglas mcmillin

Dr. McMillin completed a PhD from Emory University (Atlanta, GA) and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He worked closely in the field of the tumor microenvironment, developing a preclinical high-throughput platform for evaluating tumors in the context of non-malignant cell interactions (Nature Medicine 2010). He has over 18 years’ experience in cancer research and authored over 35 scientific publications. He is currently the founder and president of Axios Biosciences, and a consultant to 2 other startup drug discovery companies, where he has setup a full biology wet lab and advanced multiple preclinical drug discovery programs.
