D. in 2014, both from the Entomology and Plant Pathology Department at Oklahoma State University. During his graduate studies, he worked on fungicide toxicology, phylogenetics, species delimitation, plant pathogen interactions and molecular identification of microorganisms. He has published several articles in scientific journals including MPMI, Plant Disease, and Phytopathology, a book chapter and technical reports. He has presented his work in America, Europe and Australia.
