jaylin chen

Jaylin just graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry last December. She has been a part of the SoundBio Lab team since February of this year. She started as a general volunteer at the lab helping to prepare the lab for launching, and gradually became the intern/Lab facilities Lead + Social Coordinator of the lab. They are currently working on a goal of arranging at least one social event each month to help bring the general community and the science community together through a fun and relaxed way. SoundBio has already hosted a Science board game night and a Science talk, and they have a list of planned events on the way (poker night, movie night, education & equity workshops etc). Jaylin is also now a research assistant at Wang’s lab at UW Medicine SLU studying heart disease.
