Jeremy is a senior at Northeastern Illinois University. Although a chemisty student he decided to shift his focus towards bio-hacking after the introduction of relatively accessible gene editing technology. Inspired by the creation of community bio-labs across the U.S. Such as Genspace and Biocurious, he helped in the development of the first community bio-lab in the Chicagoland area - Bioblaze. His scientific interests include biosynthesis, gene manipulation, alternative meat production, and alternative energy. When not conducting research he enjoys running, swimming, cooking and homebrewing
