Justin is a traditionally trained scientist with a passion for making genetic engineering and biomanufacuring - aka "making with biology" accessible to non-professionals. Justin is a co-founder and CSO of Amino Labs Inc, the company pioneering domesticated biotechnology. Justin also has a keen interest in the safety and security implications of genetic engineering becoming simpler and more accessible and is currently a fellow of the Emerging Leaders in Biosecurity Initiative at Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security. Justin is also a collaborator with the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) on biosafety and biosecurity outreach, so if you have any questions about these topics in Canada, please ask!
