Kate Denton is a biology nerd and a STEM education enthusiast. She has a masters degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Washington and has spent the past 7 years working in science education in Seattle, WA, Pittsburgh, PA and Boston, MA.

Currently, Kate works in the Vertex Learning Lab where she interacts with community partners to make things happen - from class visits to the Vertex Science Fair Mentorship Program. Kate is also a budding 3D printing enthusiast and looks forward to incorporating engineering and design into the Learning Lab curriculum this fall.
