Keenan Pinto is a bioengineer and molecular biologist with a strong focus on applied science. He is the Founder and CEO of the molecular detection startup Nordetect which he founded in a basement makerspace in Copenhagen. While building the company he was also the Chairman of Biologigaragen, the first DIYBio association in Denmark, and an Engineer in Residence at SPACE10 where he built sensor systems for hydroponics. Besides work, he is passionate about abstract machine-art in wood, metal, and biomaterials.
