Kenza Samlali

If there's one thing Kenza hates, it’s wa(i)(s)ting. The biohacking community doesn’t wait and doesn't waste. You make a change and innovate, and that’s exactly why she's so intrigued by it. 

She studied a M.Sc. Bioengineering at the University of Leuven, Belgium. It’s there where she acquired her expertise in synthetic biology and genetic engineering. Her involvement in the biohacking community started when she began moving back and forth between Montréal and Belgium for M.Sc. research. Kenza started to help build up the local DIYBio lab in Montreal, called Bricobio, which is what she currently still does.
