Kevin is an entrepreneur and community biology organizer from Montreal, Canada. His main project as CEO/Cofounder of Hyasynth is to engineer strains of yeast that have the ability to produce cannabinoids, the active compounds from Cannabis. He cofounded and directs Bricobio, Montreal's community biology lab, and he is a director Helios Makerspace, which is one of Montreal's largest makerspaces. In his community, he organizes hackathons, workshops and maintains a biology lab at Helios. He also supports other makers, hackers, entrepreneurs and artists in the Montreal community and across Canada. Aside from that, Kevin is also a juggler and passionate about circus art and dance.
