lauren richardson
Lauren Richardson has a background in veterinary medicine and public health, with experience in large and small animal clinical medicine, food safety, and infectious disease. Last year, Dr. Richardson joined Merrick and Company’s Life Sciences unit, supporting projects related to biosecurity for the Federal government, academia, and industry. She received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine (Virginia Tech), a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Virginia, and is currently working toward her Master's of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Richardson is excited for the opportunity to explore further the intersection of DIY and community bio, animal and public health, and emerging technologies.
