Lisa Scheifele is a founding member of BUGSS, Baltimore Underground Science Space, where she teaches classes, mentors students, and engages in community outreach. In June, she became the Executive Director of BUGSS and is excited to do all she can to help the community lab movement grow. In addition to her work at BUGSS, Lisa is a professor at Loyola University Maryland where she teaches courses in genetics, genomics, and synthetic biology.
