luana langlois

Luana is a senior undergraduate student at Western University, Canada, with an interest in all things synthetic biology, a passion for research, and a newfound love for teaching and mentorship. She is the president and co-founder of the Western Synthetic Biology Research Program, an undergraduate research club that seeks to provide students with opportunities to learn, take initiative, and lead their own projects in a research lab environment. Luana is also involved in the creation of a synthetic biology program at her home institution, along with faculty and other undergraduate students. In her free time, you'll find her running, riding her bike, or spending time with friends and family, always accompanied by a warm cup of coffee.
