Melissa Wu

Melissa P. Wu, PhD, is Senior Vice President of Operations at Seeding Labs, where she contributes to increasing access globally to scientific research. She oversees operations and global partnerships for Seeding Labs, including managing the team administering the Instrumental Access program. She joined Seeding Labs as a graduate student and was part of the team that formed it as a nonprofit entity.
Throughout her career, Melissa has been fortunate to have worked in various organizations with the shared theme of empowering scientists, including the Office for Diversity Inclusion and Community Partnership at Harvard Medical School, Journal of Emerging Investigators, American Journal Experts, and the BioBuilder Education Foundation. Melissa obtained her PhD in cellular and developmental biology from Harvard University for work in muscle development at Boston Children’s Hospital and holds an SB in biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
