Minerva Castellanos, biotechnologist and Mexican biohacker. She participated in three iGEM teams, an opportunity that allowed her to connect the community and to promote synthetic biology based on Mexico and Latin America context. She has expertise in genetic engineering that allowed her to give workshops in the National University of Honduras. Minerva is currently an active member of DIY and biohacking communities in Mexico, also is working in the development of laboratory equipment for education.
