I recently joined the Technical University of Ambato in Ecuador, to open new and exciting paths for biological engineering in Ecuador, the smallest megadiverse country in the world. I have broad scientific interests including molecular microbiology, microbial and environmental engineering, bioremediation, evolution, metagenomics and protein engineering.
