Erik Zepka is a researcher, scientist, artist and philosopher that creates platforms to rethink how we engage with science and technology. His work combines university medical laboratory research, artistic provocations, open science community creation and interdisciplinary discussion to advocate for a more robust view on the technoscientific world that surrounds us. He has presented at conferences and insitutions internationally including NYU, ISEA, SFU, Border Sessions, Pikselfest and the University of Arts London. H ecreated the interdisciplinary research project based at xox labs (xoxlabs.com) and cofounded the Vancouver-based community lab the Open Science Network.
