In my role with Takeda pharmaceuticals I have 2 missions. To advocate for new scientific policies and initiatives that benefit patients and the wider community, and to drive innovation and maximize the fairness and efficiency of medical research. I also seek to create opportunities for the better use of research data to spur discovery and improve confidence in the medicines we produce through transparency. This role contributes to Takeda’s commitment to integrity, patient-centricity, sense of community and social responsibility, which are consistent with Takeda’s long history. A large part of my role is supporting clinical research and digital innovation to support enhanced clinical research values and approaches and policies to ultimately deliver better medicines for our patients and the wider community.
