Ravi has been working at the interface of computing and biology for over 15 years. After graduating in Industrial Biotechnology, he has worked in several leading institutions in USA and Europe, doing cutting edge research in the areas of protein sciences. Ravi is working in the areas of healthcare particularly in biopharma and diagnostic development and in the areas of synthetic biology including protein engineering. He is very interested in entrepreneurship and regularly interacts with many startup founders, mentoring and helping at various levels. Building an ecosystem for biotechnology across India, starting from South Indian city of Chennai & making India a biotech powerhouse is one of his main goals. He strongly believes Open innovation and nurturing of biotechnology entrepreneurs and R&D is the definite means towards it and is working for developing a community of bio people.
