sabrina marecos

Sabrina Marecos is a Paraguayan Biologist with experience in microbiology and synthetic biology research. She works in the Environmental Biotechnology Lab at the Universidad Nacional de Asunción (UNA, Paraguay).
She has experience with wastewater treatment analysis and is interested in helping improve the methods employed at different treatment plants.
After taking the How To Grow Almost Anything Program in Cambridge, Massachusetts she became Bio Academy Instructor in the Paraguayan Chapter at FACEN, UNA.
She thinks biology and engineering are the perfect couple, that’s why she is looking forward to incorporating bioengineering techniques in her future projects.
In addition to that, this year she became a jury member for the IGEM Competition.
She also loves reading, traveling, outdoor activities, and dogs!!
