Sasha Fishman

Sasha Fishman grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and holds a BFA in Studio Art from The University of Texas at Austin. She has studied art & art history in Italy and is currently assisting artists in New York. She has been awarded a grant from the Dallas Museum of Art, a Research Fellowship from The University of Texas at Austin as well as several other scholarships including one from Anderson Ranch. Her work has been exhibited in multiple group shows in the Visual Arts Center such as META_REAL_WORLD and It’s Not What You Think, as well as Material Girls’ Hello Girls! at No Vacancy 3 in New York. She will be showing with 4 other artists at the Visual Arts Center in Oozy Rat in A Sanitary Zoo next January.
