soroush vosoughi

Soroush Vosoughi is a postdoctoral associate at the Laboratory for Social Machines at the MIT Media Lab and a fellow at the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University. His research involves studying and modeling complex systems such as social networks. His main interests generally lie at the intersection of natural language processing, machine learning and network science. He received his Ph.D from MIT in 2015, where he developed algorithms for automatic detection and verification of rumors on social media.
