I am a Master’s student in Interdisciplinary approaches to Life Sciences at Center for Research and Interdisciplinarity - Paris currently pursuing my research internship at Max Planck Institute of Neurobiology. My expeditions into various fields of research since my admission into the department of Electrical engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) helped me broaden my research interests over the course of my experience both in and outside the institute and are currently in broad areas of Life Sciences, especially in Neuroscience. This introspection has provoked me to pursue a Masters in Interdisciplinary Approaches to Life Sciences allowing me to pursue research internships at UPMC, Institut Pasteur and Max Planck institute. I believe that this interface of engineering and biology would help me lead to great advances in biotechnology for designing low cost medical aid, especially for neuronal diseases diagnosis. Apart from my research interests, I am also a professional Indian classical dancer.
