Sudashan GC is a head of Media Lab Nepal, the first and only one DIY biolab in Nepal. He is in a struggle to democratize biology and introduce biohacking concept in his country. He is an ambassador of American Society for Cell Biology and a member of Robotics Association of Nepal. He also works as AI and synbio mentor in workshops organized by his lab. Even though he has a pure biology background, he has interest on integrating engineering and biology. He is often found playing with invisible organisms and his self made equipments and sometimes with soldering iron and copper wires.
