I design new tools for biology. I recently completed my PhD, where I developed a new platform for rapidly testing drug combinations to overcome antibiotic resistance, and for exploring relationships between species within bacterial communities such as the human gut microbiome. I helped start many student organizations in biotechnology and entrepreneurship, such as MIT Biotech Group, BiomedStartup, and the MIT BioMakers. I'll be starting as the director of the new MIT Biomakerspace in Fall 2018.
