Vincent Mortier

Vincent is a biomedical lab technician and engineer with a passion for teaching. Together with two friends he founded ReaGent, the first open biolab in Flanders, Belgium. After experimenting with ReaGent for a year, Ekoli was born. Ekoli is a non-profit organization aimed at bringing the biosciences into the hands of every kid. The open biolab was the ideal incubator for the development of hands-on workshops for kids. Both organizations run on the enthusiasm combined with various backgrounds. He also helped with the start-up and running of the Open BioLab of Brussels while teaching aspiring lab technicians at the Erasmus College in Brussels.
