Winer Daniel Reyes Corral

Daniel Reyes is an evolutionary biologist interested in plasticity and developmental biology. He is currently on his Ph.D. at McGill University working on ecology and evolution of plants in Galapagos. Before, he was a Fulbright scholar and received a Master’s degree from DePaul University in Chicago, IL, where he studied phenotypic plasticity and development of a tropical fish. He also worked on projects in Ecuador involving rabies virus phylogenies and bat ecology while teaching biology and evolution courses in a local University. During this time, he learned the importance of community spaces and science communication. Now he wishes to create spaces that allow people to get more involved with science and allow scientists to share their experiences with the public. In his free time, Daniel enjoys reading, cooking and dances lindy hop.
